Dreams (and nightmares)

Dreams have always confused people and they seem so random at first. When you first wake up you can remember them, but even after just one hour you can forget it completely, then something during the day (maybe even days later) triggers the memory and it comes back to you.

There is some truth behind dreams, and the things you see can have a particular meaning.

Recently I've had several different dreams that have some element of where I work at the moment; the people and the place.

I've also had about 7 dreams that involve one of my favourite tv shows, Star Trek: Enterprise.

Well, there was that one about me in one of them Victorian baths. You know, the free standing white tub with lion feet. I was in one of them and the water was black with little white squid swimming in there with me. It's rather creepy.

Water = Cleansing. Life. Emotions. Ask yourself about your current feelings

Bath = Cleansing. Release. Anxiety.

Black = Signifies isolation and transition period. It shows up conflicts and friction with relations and friends.

White = People feel they can rely on you. You have an abundance of energy and vitality.


Hmmm. Intersting, a conflict between the black and white..... you're isolated, but people will still rely on you, even though there may be some arguments.

I was walking down a black alleyway alone. Then as I walked I heard screaming. People crying for me to help them, but everywhere I turned I could see only black. Like was trapped in a box. All I could hear was their screams, then I saw someone coming twords me. It was a guy with gray wings with red tips. He took my hand, and led me through the darkness but then he disappeared, and I was all alone. Then my brother woke me up...

Black = Signifies isolation and transition period. It shows up conflicts and friction with relations and friends.

Grey = Related with a transition period. If clear signifies peace but if dull signifies, fear.

Red = This is an indication of great passion and sensitivity in your emotional relationships.

Alley = Hiding something. A narrow or secret way. Gossip.

Box = Want to keep something safe. Enclose. Contain.

Hand = Capacity and competence. Expect big work ahead, meanwhile must take better care of own affairs.


Again, another conflict with the colours...

You're hiding something and keeping it safe from others, this could cause the friction between your friends and family. Depending on the type of grey you saw it could mean you will live in fear of keeping something from those you know. You might have to work hard to keep it safe and that is where your emotions could be quite sensitive.

[So I wouldn't forget this I wrote it down in word. . one of the best dreams i've ever had]


To begin with it was about me and two other people – I think it was.... Hoshi and it may have been Malcolm but I’m not too sure about that. We were on a planet in EV suits - so that may have meant it was an asteroid - and one of us (not me) got a leg injury and we had to drag them back to the pod - that may have been Hoshi that got the injury. I was then soon looking at John and he was just in skivvies and I could see a mobile phone shoved into his skivvies (why I was looking at his bottom, I’ll never know!)

Then the scene changed I was in a room…. I was Hoshi.. and I was in a red wedding dress…. I was about to have an arranged marriage…………….. But I was in love with Trip.

Trip escorted me most of the way up to the church (I was attacked at one point but Trip saved me - two men trying to get me run over along a big main road.) … I had to walk to the church… no car at all! This is when for some strange reason I was no longer Hoshi but I was me.. but still about to have an arranged marriage.

When I got to the church - where there was snow everywhere - I realised Trip wasn't with me ( thought he was upset because i was marrying some one else) and so I went Back to Enterprise where most people were going to watch the wedding on a screen. And everyone seemed to have mobile phones in their hands. I found Trip gave him a big kiss and then I was attacked by some aliens, I was stabbed and so needed to be taken down to sickbay. The lift got stuck and Trip was desperately trying to call a member of the Butterfly repair team to come and fix it but he couldn't get a response from them

Then there was something else about John's uniform suddenly changing colour from blue to yellow! Or that may have been Travis' uniform, but some people were soon walking around in yellow uniforms and others still in the normal blue one. Who ever was in a yellow uniform was being called a “Butterfly” officer and whoever was in blue was being called a “Blueberry” officer.



Leg = Is associated with support and movement. Joy and happiness.,but an injured leg denotes unprofitable occupations.

Buttocks = Humility and stupidity. Also power. You need to forgive someone.

Church = Big happiness. Being loved by God. Spiritual belief.

Telephone = Remote locations. Connection. Trying to reach someone or something.

Stabbing = Violence. Fear of betrayal. Need to be more trusting.

Car = Personal power. Ego.

Wedding = Commitment. Union. Feeling close to someone.

Snow = Purity. Clarity. You want a fresh start.

Kissing = Affection. Joy. Coming success. Wish to be close to someone.

Assault = Good information will be given to you. Monetary gain. Family quarrels.

Uniform = Identical. Conformity. Need to identify yourself with others or to break free of rules.

Alien = Distant, strange, or unrecognized.

Elevator = Ascension. Increased understanding. Increase in wealth and advancement in position.

Red = This is an indication of great passion and sensitivity in your emotional relationships

Yellow = This color is a sign of confidence in yourself and your abilities but will encounter opposition.

Blue = This dream denotes a great source of inner peace and a symbol of contentment.


Who wants to try and translate that for me?

I'll have a stab at translating that later... sounds interesting though...

I had another dream last night.

From what I can remember, it had a big fat elderly man dress in a white toga with a red line down one side and he had a olive wreath around his head which bore balding white hair. He had red rosy cheeks and he had a wine jug in one hand. He was muttering at me, telling me things. I remember seeing flying donkeys or mules. It then shifted and the whole place was very morbid and imposing. There was a woman this time... kinda reminded me of that witch in Sleeping Beauty. She had a carving knife and was babbling about naughty children needing have their fingers chopped off. There were quivering sheep in the corner, their woolly coat sheared.

And that's all I remember... It's kinda strange and scary

White = People feel they can rely on you. You have an abundance of energy and vitality.

Wine = Celebration. Pleasure. Looking for a more carefree attitude.
Donkey = Simplicity and sturdiness. Success in your undertakings, whether of travel or love. Surrounded by loyal friends.
Sheep = A dream about sheep foretells coming success through well-conceived plans.


Well.... despite the mobidity of your dream, everything points to you having success and celebrating. It could be exams or a job that you have success in, or even in your love life (maybe finding someone at long last, or going deeper into your current rekationship). Obviously, the sheep are telling you that you must plan to get the success.... Who said sheep were stupid?

I had another last night...

It was a video game... and I was strangely playing it alongside Samantha Carter. We got transported into the game like realm where we had to kick zombie jaffa butts. They gave me this wierd looking dark grey hand device which acted like a ribbon device. You didn't need naquada in your blood to use it. We were coursing through what appeared to be a run down Stargate Command. Things were sparking and groaning. I had looked in a broken mirror at one point and noticed I too was a Jaffa. One of Ba'al's no less.

We carried on, shooting down zombie jaffa, including Garack. That was fun. However we got to a point where it wasn't just jaffa that were zombie-fied, it was also SG staff. Hammond, Walter, Siler... Mitchell was doing something weird on the floor in the mess hall. but he wasn't zombie-fied. Daniel... there's something about him and Vala... oh yeah... their minds swapped bodies and and Daniel (body) walked very GIRLY like. I nearly got killed laughing.
