Reuben watched Archer with a guarded expression. He wondered how battle ready the man was. He had no doubt the man would die for his convictions and he hoped that was enough to spare him.
"Yes Captain, " the Vulcan was heard to reply and Reuben quietly sent Hoshi to the frequency to transmit to, smiling as he did so. He liked Hoshi, the woman was smart and cute.
In the meantime, Nukran wrote something down in his native dialect before giving it to Reuben who read it, gave the man a look before sighing and nodded. He pocketed what Nukran had written as they waited the ten minutes. Two minutes before, Nukran's console bleeped. The Xindi tapped at it before reading what had been sent to him. His expression scowled and darkened considerably.
He was silent but he began furiously tapping away at his console before turning it again, "I know this warp trail. Several versions older than our current model but I know it. My youngest son," he was quiet as Reuben watched him with curiosity, "He owns it."
"All right, you have my backing. Reuben Boch will take command of the vessel I will assign as escort and backup. I have too many meetings where my presence is required to go myself but promise me you will find and kill these traitors, Boch."
"And your son?" Boch replied, adopting an at ease posture. Archer frowned, the idea of killing was still not something he liked to entertain, he knew it may have to come to that anyway but it didn't mean he had to like it.
"Him too. Out of the two of you, you know my culture best, Boch. He is my son no longer. Go now, return to Enterprise. The vessels will be with you shortly along with someone from our intelligence network," Nukran said heavily, sitting in his sit.
"Do this Boch, and I might call us even," "I like the sound of those odds, General." Reuben replied before he moved for the door.

"Thank you." Archer spoke to the General. At least now they had a chance to find his crewmen. Pike and Walker he knew wouldn't try anything, but it was more Dani he was worried about.

Reuben led the way through the corridors back to the transportation room. "Well, that went better than I thought it would"

"When we get my crewmen back, then I'll know that went well. Then and only then." Archer replied.

Reuben smiled slightly, "Oh, we'll get them back, Archer. I'm contract to that, ain't I? But that man, he gives me the heebie jeebies," he said as they entered. The Xindi at the console spoke in his native tongue, and Reuben replied, "Buckle your seatbelt... Hell, do they still use seatbelts on Earth?" he asked,.

"We don't have automobiles any more if that's what you're asking."

They were returned to the Enterprise's transporter bay before Reuben replied, "I don't remember the last car I drove. It's been a few years, give or take a hundred. Miss it though," he breathed.

Archer headed off, entering the turbolift and going straight to the bridge. He wasn't much in the mood for small talk right now.

Reuben shrugged before following him, consenting himself to silence after that, thumbs dumped into his pockets. His face was blank but his mind reeled. Xindi. Dani. Neila. His son... all the hope he had previously given up on. It was all a bit much.
Within the hour, two Xindi vessels turned up to join the Enterprise and opened a hailing frequency with the Earth vessel requesting for its Captain to be sent over. Reuben had gone immediately, not even sparing Archer so much as a word before leaving. He sent over details of what the Xindi had learned about the rebels whereabouts along with an attack and rescue plan along with a rudimentary back up plan. Despite all that had happened to raise his hopes, he reverted back to his colder self in the knowledge that Reptilian Xindi would not respond to a pinksin who was soft. The harder he was, the more his orders would be followed. He just hoped Archer recognised all that, he knew that Reed would and T'Pol as well but Archer wasn't one he could or liked to read.

Archer felt a little uneasy with so many Reptillian Ships surrounding his own precious Enterprise. The Reptillians ships were far more powerful than the Earth Vessel, and if anything went wrong they might turn on him, but he had to put his trust in Reuben, trust that he would be able to keep the peace between them. He sat in his chair on the bridge, waiting for someone... anyone... to tell him where his crewmen were so he could go and get them back.

Ensign Mitchell watched as her captor left the room. After a minute or two she gave out a long sigh and began looking around the room that was now her prison. Spotting a window she rose to her feet and moved over, wrapping her fingers around the iron bars, giving them a strong shake. They were solid. There was no way she would be able to escape that way. Feeling defeated she rested her head against the bars, looking out through the window at the building where she had seen Pike and Walker being taken. In two days they were most likely going to be the property of some alien and were likely to never see Enterprise or Earth again.

Reuben sat on the Captain's chair, or what passed for a chair. He couldn't find a position that was comfortable in any way shape or form. He ended up settling for perching on the edge. Trust Reptilian Xindi's to design something so hard to sit on. He sighed as they found a location to start their search and relayed that with the other Xindi ship and Enterprise before heading off towards it. He was nervous and worried but he didn't dare show that. To show weakness was to invite death with the Xindi. Where they were headed was a rough general idea. They could be here or not, it was hit or miss.
"Keep Enterprise apprised of things," he stated coldly peering towards the one manning the comms. The Xindi nodded in response without complaint. Reuben supposed that's because that Neskra was backing all this. For a high up Reptilian Xindi to give a human two of his ships sent to find and trace his son was no small matter.
It was some time before they got anywhere, coming to a halt just outside sensor range of where they thought Dani and the others were being held. The Xindi ships that Reuben commanded were more advanced and newly made by a few months. The ones that the Rebels held were far older models and thus had far more limitations than what was at Reuben's disposal. "Relay to ENterprise; anything on your sensor's in regards to Human life signs?" he had no idea how far their sensor extended or how good they were but as far as finding a human life sign was concerned, their sensors would be far better attuned.

Hoshi passed on the message to Captain Archer and then all eyes were on T'Pol as she began her scans. The bridge was being deathly silent, the only sounds were that of the console beeping as T'Pol tapped away.
Archer stood just the other side of the Science Station, obviously beginning to get impatient, but he knew T'Pol needed a few seconds before any results would start coming back. This scan seemed to be taking longer than normal. "Anything?"
The Vulcan's eyes didn't look up from the screen in front of her, not wanting to miss anything. "Not yet, but the scans are not complete." She replied. Archer took a long deep breath and released it. Several more seconds passed. "Scans complete. No signs of human life."

"Let Boch know,"
Boch glanced to his little screen and frowned for a moment. He tapped his fingers for a moment in thought, calculating his options. He eventually relayed to Enterprise a basic plan that he knew Archer was not going to like. Who liked taking the back seat and relying on someone you didn't really trust? The message was simple. 'Kindly request HMS to remain at current location. Will request backup should and when need arise. Xindi will smell a rat if a human vessel turns up with Xindi escort. Going in with undercover operation. Acknowledged?'
He sent the message in French knowing Hoshi was a linguist and he knew that the Xindi were less likely to be able to translate it. He also knew that even if Hoshi didn't realise what he meant by 'HMS', others would. The name of Enterprise was deep seated in both British and American history by now. His plan carried a risk but it wasn't uncommon for bounty hunters to turn pirate much less show interest in the slave market. The truth of his heritage was unknown and it wasn't all that uncommon either for freed slaves or slaves that had bought their freedom to turn and buy slaves for themselves. Reuben Boch had made quite the reputation for himself and he was relying that it would help play the part.

Archer listened carefully to Hoshi, but he was confused, to say the least. Why was he going down to the planet when they hadn't picked up any human bio-signs? It just didn't make any sense to the Captain. He began to pace back and forth with worry. He should be out there trying to find his crewmen, not hanging around waiting. The time wasted by waiting meant they would be less and less likely to find the three of them, and that frustrated him deeply. However, he had to trust Reuben. He knew the Xindi, his knew their ways far better than he did. He finally turned to Hoshi and simply nodded his head to hear in a silent order of 'Acknowledged.'
He looked between T'Pol and Malcolm before turning and leaving the bridge, heading into his ready room. He needed some time alone right now.
